IF THERE'S ANYTHING I LEARNED FROM NICKI MINAJ, IT'S THAT YOU CAN RELEASE THE ORIGINAL WORK WITH A NEW PRE-FIX AND PEOPLE WILL BUY IT. YAAS QUEEN.
Joseph's World has been something I've wanted to create for years. I've always imagined a place where my art could exist for the world to see, from the words that came from my heart, emotions, and imagination, my digital art, the videos I've produced, and everything else in between. I wanted to have a voice to express times of sadness, joy, rage, and pain.
When I first started my website, I decided to abide one law: simplicity. The first era of Joseph's World was born from a desire inside me to create balance through simplicity. I decided that my website would be white, like a blank canvas, ready to be painted on.
The second forthcoming of my website was born from a time of sorrow. I was going through a lot nearing the end of my first semester at college, and I decided that I would use an image of Manhattan I took from my time at New York City to be my background. This picture was dark, taken during a rainy day from the 23rd floor of the Hudson Hotel. It reflected my feelings then.
This happened within a span of 5 months. Honestly, this website has been a great part of me that I wish to keep forever. But I knew that the white background or the melancholy picture of New York was not me. It was a fracture of my life. And now, I decided to change.
I want to leave the days of darkness behind and start fresh.
Welcome to the new Joseph's World.
This will be a new, more abstract place for all of my emotions to run free. Joy. Pain. Anger. Rage. Sadness. Excitement. Remorse. Like emotions, art has no boundaries. It can be translated to many forms. For example, if you look at the background of the title image above, you''ll see nothing but a psychedelic pattern. It's an image generated from a picture of me in front of the White House, right after I met the president.
To all of you who have watched me grow from my lowest point to my peak, I would like to say thank you. Thank you for taking the time to read my posts. My passion for writing transcends popularity and demand. I will continue to write whether one or a hundred people read my posts.
Thank you for following me through this journey. Welcome to the next part of my adventure.
